Silence stops his story.

Silence Stops His Story is an unapologetically bold brand campaign we curated to address men’s suicide. For this vital project, our goal was urgent; we set out to break the silence – loudly. Every brand decision was anchored by authenticity and research, shaped by deep discovery and support of a Reference Group of people with lived and living experience of suicide.

The campaign name, His Story, acts as a visual lifeline – a signal of hope, action, and the will to speak out. The dynamic transformation of “his story” into “history” is more than a clever graphic; it’s a profound metaphor for how a man’s life and voice can be erased when silence prevails. Paired with a bold black-and-yellow palette (designed for accessibility and impact), and anchored by a vibrant swoosh, design feels urgent, disruptive, and unmissable. Video and posters user raw, close-up visuals – intense eyes that tell a story.  For language, we left nothing unsaid. Through research, we knew real change demanded honesty and directness. Strong, deeply emotive, powerful words and taglines, deliberately using the terms men, suicide, and dying to make the reality impossible to ignore. The result is a national campaign that doesn’t simply awareness, but dares people to listen, speak, and act.
